Overview
TP-Cloud allows the user to define processes that can be simulated by solving mass, energy and exergy (entropy) balances. Examples of such processes are CO2 capture processes, pipeline-transport networks, Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) processes, processes for production and liquefaction of hydrogen and much more. The following documentation is provided to help the user:
-
How to build a process: A short, step-wise tutorial on how to build a process.
-
Streams: Explains what a stream is, how the different kinds of stream differ, and where to find their properties and composition.
-
Unit Operations: Documents the different process units that are available and the underlying equations that are solved.
-
Solver & Convergence: A concise summary of what has happened during your calculation, and whether any safety hazards or simulation errors have been detected.
-
Results & Analysis: Documents the available functionality to analyze key performance indicators of the process such as work demand and energy efficiency.
-
Exergy Analysis: Shows where in the process work is lost, and how much.
-
Global Safety Scan: Explains the safety check and how it can be taken advantage of to make sure that essential flow assurance challenges are avoided.
-
Checkpoints: Save snapshots of a process so you can restore to a known state later.
Processes can be built together with your colleagues. See Collaboration for how sharing, roles and permissions work.
