Signing in
TP-Cloud has no password of its own. You sign in with your existing Google or Microsoft account, and the identity provider handles the authentication. We never see your password, and your organisation keeps whatever controls it already has on that account, such as multi-factor authentication and single sign-on policies.
Your work
Processes, fluids and results are stored in your account on our servers. They are private to you until you share them. Nothing you build is visible to other users unless you explicitly share it (see Collaboration). You can withdraw shared access at any time.
We do look at aggregated usage to understand which parts of the product are used, and our own team can access data when you ask us to help with a specific problem.
The AI chat
When you use the AI, the process you are working on is sent to a language model along with your message, so that the model can answer about your actual process. This includes the flowsheet, the equation of state, compositions and results.
The models are OpenAI's, but we reach them through Microsoft Foundry rather than through OpenAI directly. Our deployment runs in Microsoft's West Europe region, so your prompts are processed inside the EU. It also means the request falls under Microsoft's terms for Foundry, under which prompts are not used to train the underlying models.
Error reports and feedback
The application reports crashes and errors to our monitoring service so we can find and fix them. These reports include the address of the page and technical details of the failure.
Feedback and bug reports are different: nothing is sent unless you send it. See Troubleshooting & Support for exactly what a report contains and where it goes.
Deleting your data
A process you delete goes to the Deleted view, where you can choose to restore it or permanently delete it within 30 days. Any process left in Deleted view for more than 30 days will be deleted.
