Tray numbering

Tray numbers increase from top to bottom. Tray 1 is the top tray, and the highest tray number is at the bottom.

Inputs

• Number of Trays: Total number of trays in the absorber.
• Vapor Feed Tray Number: Tray index where the vapor feed enters (top → bottom).
• Liquid Feed Tray Number: Tray index where the liquid feed enters (top → bottom).

Notes

• The liquid feed must be above the vapor feed (i.e., liquid feed tray number is smaller than vapor feed tray number).

Outputs

• Treated vapor product (top outlet).
• Rich liquid product (bottom outlet).
