Lower the pressure isenthalpically (aka throttling).
Inputs
Outlet Pressure: Target downstream pressure (must be > 0).Pressure Drop (deltaP): Pressure drop across the valve (must be > 0).- Specify exactly one of outlet pressure or pressure drop.
Outputs
- Throttled outlet stream at the specified outlet pressure, or computed from inlet pressure and specified pressure drop (isenthalpic expansion, so no work output).
Warnings
- Wrong sign: If the specified outlet pressure is higher than inlet pressure.
- Invalid pressure drop: If the specified pressure drop (
deltaP) is non-positive. - Specification conflict: If both outlet pressure and pressure drop are specified, or if neither is specified.
