Compressor
Raise the pressure of a gas stream.
Inputs
Efficiency (%): Isentropic efficiency in percent (must be between 0 and 100).Outlet Pressure: Pressure of the outlet stream. Must be higher than inlet stream.
Outputs
- Work output: This is negative as a compressor consumes work. This equals the reverersible work divided by the efficiency.
Warnings
- Liquid in compressor: If a liquid-phase or two-phase state is detected.
- Wrong sign: If the specified outlet pressure of the compressor is lower than the computed inlet pressure.
