Flash drum
Split a two-phase feed into vapour and liquid outlets.
Inputs
Pressure Drop: Optional pressure drop across the vessel (must be ≥ 0).
Outputs
- Vapour and liquid outlet streams at the calculated drum pressure. If the pressure drop is zero this simply splits the vapor and liquid into separate. For positive pressure drop, and isenthalpic equilibrium calculation is performed first to calculate the new equilibrium.
Warnings
Under some conditions, the flash drum may provide warnings
- Single phase state: The flash is single-phase. This is indicated graphically by the flash-drum turning magenta.
